How buying on ArtFair works

Your purchase is made directly with the artist. ArtFair is a marketplace that connects buyers with Australian artists. When you buy a work:

1. We email you a tax invoice with bank transfer details. The total is the artist's listed price plus ArtFair's service commission.

2. Once your payment clears, the sale is confirmed and the artwork gets its red dot.

3. The artist ships the work to you directly and is your point of contact for shipping, packaging, and any questions about the work. You can message each other through your ArtFair account at any time.

4. ArtFair passes the full listed price on to the artist and retains only the service commission.

If a payment isn't received within 7 days, the order may be cancelled and the work returned to sale. Questions? Contact curator@artfair.com.au.
